Applications Of 1.8m Cones
The 8kg weight made from recycled rubber is a great addition to our 1.8m cones. These cones are often used in the following applications:
- Construction Sites: The 1.8m cones are used in construction sites to mark areas. The additional weight ensures that they stay upright and visible all day. Add reflective strips to the cone for additional visibility at night.
- Road Construction/ Management: Our 1.8m road cones are used during road construction where it is key to alert drivers from afar. The extra weight on the cone minimises the risk of cones being knocked over by vehicles or wind. Tthey remain visible in terms of directing traffic and marking out lanes during road maintenance and construction
- Mining: Our 1.8m mining cones are often used on open cast mines throughout Africa. With the addition of prismatic reflective stickers, they are often used to demarcate dangerous areas within a mining site where visibility is compromised. The additional weight will ensure they can fulfil this function more effectively.
- Parking Areas: The additional stability provided by the add-on weight enhances the visibility and stability of our 1.8m safety cones, which are regularly used in parking areas to indicate where people are not allowed to park. The addition of the weight also means that these cones are less likely to fall over.
