Step 1: Decide on What Model and Colour Post You Require

So, before buying the post, it’s important to determine the model you require. These general descriptions should help you with this:

Step 2: Gather the Required Tools and Materials

Before beginning the installation process, make sure you have all the necessary tools and materials. Here’s a list of what you’ll need:

• Rubber mallet or sledgehammer
• Core Drill with appropriate drill bits
• Epoxy adhesive (optional)
• Measuring tape

Step 3: Plan the Delineator Placement

Determine the locations where you intend to place the FG300 delineators. Consider elements such as the flow of traffic, the curvature of the road, and the visibility needs.

Measure the spaces between delineators to guarantee appropriate alignment and spacing. Then make markings on the road with chalk to indicate the positioning of drill holes for the base.

Step 4: Drill Holes

Use a core drill with an appropriate size to create holes at the marked locations.

Step 5: Prepare the Installation Site

If installing on epoxy adhesive, clean the holes and area as thoroughly as possible to ensure proper adhesion.

Step 6: Install the Delineator Base

Take the FG300 delineator base and position it at the desired location. Ensure that the base is level and securely in place.

If you have chosen to use epoxy, then apply epoxy adhesive into the holes before inserting anchor bolts.

Insert the bolts and then place the delineator base over the anchor bolts and press it down firmly. Use a rubber mallet or sledgehammer if you want to be confident that the base is as secure as possible.

If you use epoxy allow it to cure completely as per the manufacturer’s instructions.

Step 7: Attach the Delineator Post

Take the FG300 delineator post and slide it into the base.

Some FG300 models come with a twist-lock feature, which ensures a secure connection between the post and the base. If your model doesn’t have this feature, use the provided screws or bolts to secure the post to the base.

Step 8: Test and Inspect the Installation

Once the delineator post is secured, step back and assess its alignment with the road. Make any necessary adjustments to ensure the delineator is straight and facing the desired direction.

Be sure to test the delineators by observing their visibility from various angles and distances. Ensure they are secure and free from any defects or damages.
